Just a quick update on how my transcription project is coming along. I'm on page 7 (of 25?). This is more familiar territory as I've reached the part of the tree that is my line that immigrated. The project should start to go faster as it's more familiar, but I've still got info to compare to what I know. Stay tuned - I'll post another update when I can.

Here is a Photo of Alvina & Charles Schliepp and some of the children. We think it is them because it is on a Post Card.

I should also comment that this genealogy Armin sent me that I'm working on adding to my database is a report compiled from research by Dieter Schmudlach and Rainer Toelle.

The photo I used for this group was sent to me this past summer by Armin Schmudlach. It's of Johann Christian Friedrich Schmudlach and his wife Eva Klunger - our oldest ancestors so far (my 5th great-grandparents), grandfather of Johann Emanuel Ludwig Schmudlach - our common ancestor.

Who is that in the photo? Is that Johann and his 1st wife or his 2nt wife? or is it another person on the schmudlach family?
